Behind the door
In the closet,
Each day
Waiting to be plucked
From the dark,
Tuesday is usually my day.

Briefly in the light,
Off to the office
To be hung safely
Behind the door,
Occasionally liberated for a
Less than comfortable lunch.

Back to the closet,
Briefly in the light,
Sometimes a round trip
With the wrong pants,
Though no one seems to notice,
Often not even him.
