Focusing on challenges before me,
Work, relationship, problems,
Perspective collapses,
Compressing all.

Life becomes as thin
As a glossy magazine page,
With darkness slinking,
Around the edges.

Challenges weigh heavily on all,
Smothering the rest of life.
The day before me,
Becomes the struggle.

A faint voice from within moves
My eyes to seek the horizon,
Expanding vision,
Across a vast expanse of world.

Reaching out with a renewed spirit,
Richness of life surrounding me
Again reveals its depth with a silent song,
A rush of light breath, perspective is restored.

Challenges fade in comparison,
As solutions are manifest.
The day before me,
Becomes an invitation.
